Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and CeeCipe ("CeeCipe", "we", "us", or "our") and govern your access to and use of the CeeCipe iOS app and related services (together, the "Service"). Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use CeeCipe. Some features may require an Apple ID, iCloud, in-app purchase account, or other account managed by a third-party provider. You are responsible for keeping your devices and accounts secure and for all activity that occurs through them.

Permission to Use the Service

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your own lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

Health, Nutrition, and Cooking Information

CeeCipe may provide recipe, ingredient, meal planning, calorie, nutrition, or cooking suggestions. This information is for general convenience only and is not medical, nutritional, allergy, or professional advice. Always verify ingredients, allergens, measurements, cooking temperatures, food safety guidance, and nutrition information before relying on them.

User Content

"User Content" means recipes, photos, links, notes, shopping lists, preferences, feedback, and other content you submit, import, save, generate, or use with the Service. You are solely responsible for your User Content, including making sure you have the rights needed to use and submit it.

You keep ownership of your User Content. You grant CeeCipe a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, modify, display, and create derivative works from your User Content only as needed to operate, provide, secure, improve, and support the Service and the features you choose to use.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use CeeCipe to:

• Violate any law or the rights of others.
• Submit, import, generate, or share content you do not have permission to use.
• Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
• Harass, abuse, defame, threaten, deceive, or harm another person.
• Interfere with, reverse engineer, scrape, crawl, disrupt, or misuse the Service.
• Upload malicious, harmful, deceptive, or abusive content.
• Attempt to bypass purchase, subscription, security, or access controls.
• Use the Service to build or train a competing product without our permission.

We may review, remove, restrict, or refuse content or access if we believe it violates these Terms, creates risk, or may harm users, us, third parties, or the Service.

Subscriptions and Purchases

CeeCipe may offer paid features, subscriptions, trials, or in-app purchases through Apple's App Store. App Store purchases are billed by Apple and are subject to Apple's payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.

Unless required by law or Apple's rules, purchases are final and refunds are handled by Apple. If a subscription is canceled, you may continue to access paid features until the end of the current billing period, unless Apple or we state otherwise.

Third-Party Services and Content

The app may rely on third-party services for purchases, attribution, diagnostics, configuration, AI processing, recipe extraction, link previews, and iCloud sync. CeeCipe may also let you import content from third-party websites or apps. We are not responsible for third-party services, websites, content, policies, or availability.

Recipes and content imported from external websites or apps may be owned by third parties. You are responsible for complying with any terms, copyright rules, or usage restrictions that apply to the source content.

AI-Generated or Extracted Output

Some app features may use automated systems or AI services to extract, summarize, classify, or generate recipe content. Output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming output before using it.

Intellectual Property

CeeCipe, including its design, software, branding, and app content we provide, is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for rights expressly granted in these Terms, we reserve all rights in the app and related materials.

If you send ideas, feedback, or suggestions, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation to you.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CeeCipe and its owners, developers, service providers, and partners from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

Disclaimer

CeeCipe is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that recipe, nutrition, or AI-generated information will be accurate.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CeeCipe and its owners, developers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of the app.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the app or related services if you violate these Terms, create risk, or use the app in a way that may harm users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the app at any time.

After termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including provisions about User Content licenses, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and general terms.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of CeeCipe after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

Privacy

Our collection and use of information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and CeeCipe regarding the Service and replace any prior understandings about the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
